second try, way better fit
quit the injections after about 5 months, the side effects just kept stacking up and i couldnt justify it anymore. started melt in january, had a little bit of nausea the first week which i expected, and since then its been smooth, no weekly dread, no needle, and i havent skipped a single day which is honestly a first for me.

gentler experience overall
the injections wrecked my stomach for the first three months i was on them and even after that i had rough days every week. with melt i had some mild queasiness the first ten days or so, nothing close to what i dealt with before, and after that it just became a normal part of my evening, no dread, no fridge, no appointments to reschedule.

the discretion is the whole point for me
I dont want to explain anything to a seatmate or a colleague on a work trip, and I really dont want to be digging through a cold pack situation in a shared hotel fridge. This just looks like a snack and thats exactly what I need it to look like.
